NATIONAL BOARD VR REPAIR

Pressure relief valves are critical protective devices.

Extreme Force Valve uses dedicated testing equipment to evaluate valve performance and help determine whether valves are ready for certification or require additional service.

Repair work may include:

  • lapping

  • machining

  • component rework / replacement

  • taggin and sealing

  • set-pressure adjustment

  • seat leakage testing

  • back pressure testing

  • set pressure testing

  • documentation

T/O TEST-ONLY CERTIFICATION

Not every valve that enters the shop requires repair.

Valves that successfully meet applicable testing requirements may qualify for the National Board Test Only program without complete disassembly or repair.

Only permitted minor set-pressure adjustments are made within the T/O process.

MACHINING & SPECIAL PROCESSES

A slightly damaged component doesn't always mean a new component is required.

Extreme's special-process capabilities allow qualifying PRV components to be machined back within permissible OEM specifications where appropriate.

That capability can reduce cost and avoid unnecessary replacement.

VALVE CONVERSIONS

& SET PRESSURE CHANGES

Extreme Force Valve performs qualifying valve conversions and set-pressure changes based on the application, valve condition and applicable requirements.

INDUSTRIAL PRESSURE TESTING

Our capabilities extend beyond safety and pressure relief valves.

Extreme provides pressure testing to customer requirements for multiple valve and vessel applications.

PRESSURE / VACUUM VENT TESTING & REPAIR

Extreme Force Valve provides testing, inspection, repair and service for pressure/vacuum vents, conservation vents and tank breather valves used on storage tanks and process systems.

These devices help protect tanks from excessive pressure or vacuum while limiting unnecessary product loss and vapor emissions. Proper testing helps confirm that the vent opens and reseats at the required pressure and vacuum settings.

As a PROTEGO® Authorized Repair Center (PARC), Extreme Force Valve provides qualified service for PROTEGO® equipment. Our team also tests and services pressure/vacuum vents from other leading manufacturers, including:
